Our founding fathers would be so disappointed.
They were so creative. (Sure, they had their own faults. Keeping slaves is immeasurably worse than watching too much television. I know that.)
But here we are, given every opportunity. What do we do? Do we self-actualize?
Naw! We watch.
As a nation, we are entertaining ourselves to death. We have become a nation of watchers.
Alas.
